This page explains the cookies and similar storage that Windows Are Forever uses, what they are for, and how you can control them. Read it alongside our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use your browser’s localStorage for the same purpose. The items we set are first-party — they belong to this website only and are not readable by other sites.
The cookies we set
On landing, we store a small family of marketing-attribution values so we can tell which advertising or
article brought you here and, if you enquire, record it accurately. These are named with a
wml_ prefix and expire after 90 days. No advertising or analytics tags are
active on this site yet; if that changes, this page will be updated first.

These are strictly used for marketing attribution and to make the enquiry form work correctly. We do not use them to build a profile of you across other websites.
Tag manager and analytics (not yet active)
We have prepared, but not switched on, a Google Tag Manager container. If and when it is enabled, it may
set additional cookies — typically Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and
_ga_<id> to measure visits. Until that happens, no such cookies are set, and we will
update this policy and the cookie table above before turning them on.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings, and clear localStorage the same way.
Removing the wml_ items only affects attribution accuracy — the site and the enquiry
form will continue to work normally. Your browser’s help pages explain how to manage cookies for
your specific device.
